The Black Lime originates in the middle east and are a small lime that has been dried in the sun or sometimes in hot sand.
The limes are strongly flavoured. They taste sour and citrusy like fresh limes but have an added earthy and somewhat smoky taste. The limes lack the sweetness of fresh limes but have a slightly bitter almost peppery flavour.
Our customers are telling us the flavour is very unique adding a pleasant and addictive peppery after taste.
